Marianne Stewart  was born in Mechelen, Belgium,  and raised in Antwerp, Belgium. Her dad was a journalist, and her mom  a restorer of antique gobelins.

She has a degree in Fine arts with a major in Jewel Design, and Public Relations.

In 1987 she married Larry Nolan Stewart III of San Antonio and made the transatlantic move from Brussels, Belgium to the great state of Texas.

She has one daughter, Emma born in 1993.
