When I decided to sell my house, I thought I would try to do it myself.  I decided that I would interview a few agents and if I didn’t find one I thought could do the job, I would go it alone.  After talking with Mike for about an hour, I realized that selling my house on my own could develop into a hassle if things didn’t go smoothly.  There was a lot of work that needed to be done, and Mike assured me he could get the work done and get the house on the market in the timeframe I wanted.  I had intended to interview more agents, but Mike made me feel confident that he was more than up to the task.  All the repairs were made, Mike even did some of them, and the house was listed at a price that surprised me, but Mike had done his homework and assured me that it was priced correctly.  He was right.  In less than a week, I had a signed contract.  His negotiation skills ensured that I had made a good deal.  He was there every step of the way.  He was present when the inspector was there, he arranged for the appraiser to have full access to the property, and when repairs were needed, he located the contractors and made sure the job was done correctly.  When a disagreement arose concerning an air conditioning issue, Mike contacted the personnel to solve the issue.  He even took the initiative to contact the previous title company when he realized the existing survey was incomplete.  There are too may steps involved in a real estate transaction, and Mike made them appear seamless.  He was there from offer to closing and made sure I was informed at all times.  I am so glad that I didn’t try to do this myself, and I would recommend Mike to anyone who needs an honest, reliable real estate agent.
